Lil' Wayne Opens Up About Health Scare, Says He's Epileptic & Now Plans "America's Most Wanted" Tour

Rapper Lil' Wayne is doing better nowadays after his health scare about a week and a half ago. He is now opening up about the health crisis that put him in the hospital.

In a phone interview on Los Angeles radio station Power 106 Thursday night, Wayne said the bad news is he's epileptic and prone to seizures.

"This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures; y'all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent. Basically, I could've died soon. That's why it was so serious," he said.

"The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. That's typical me, though."
Wayne spoke about the reports from TMZ that created the rumors that Lil' Wayne was basically on his death bed and given his last rites:

"I can't be upset at that. I get upset at my kids when they do things that I tell 'em not to do; I can't get upset at TMZ for doing what they do."

"The truth isn't good enough for them, so they gotta twist everything up," he said.

Lil' Wayne's album I Am Not a Human Being II was just released and now he is planning to embark on a 40-show tour starting July 5 (see tour dates below). What happened to him overworking himself?
