Legendary musician and multiple Grammy Award winner, Prince - full name Prince Rogers Nelson - has passed away, reportedly due to flu-like symptoms.
At first, reports circulated around that someone has died at Prince's estate in Minnesota, but police didn't say who. There were reports of a fatality and police notified next of kin.
Prince was briefly hospitalized, the 57-year-old had been battling the flu. Just last week, on April 15th, Prince's private jet had to make an emergency landing in Illinois where he was briefly hospitalized. He complained of not feeling well and was battling the flu. But the next day, Prince appeared at his concert and performed onstage for fans.
According to TMZ ,who broke the news of his death, Prince's body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday (April 22) morning.
Multiple sources connected to the singer confirmed he had passed. Prince was only 57 years old.
