Mariah Carey, the legend, the diva, the icon ... Mariah, who says she doesn't know other certain celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Demi Lovato ... Well, it seems like Mariah doesn't know her own lyrics!
Saturday night on New Year's Eve, the 46-year-old singer headlined the festivities in Times Square. She came out onstage for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC looking fabulous as ever and then it turned into...
WHATTTT.... THEEEE.... F*CKKKKK... IS HAPPENING!?
The singer appeared to have technical difficulties during her live performance. She even stopped singing at one point, looked very annoyed, and even walked off the stage!
Mariah told the crowd, "I'm trying to be a good sport here."
Now, it's no secret that Mariah is a fan of lip-syncing nowadays, so what I think happened is that her pre-recorded singing was not playing because her mic worked fine since she was able to talk to the audience. And, we hard bits of pieces of her TRYINGGG to sing. It's like she forgot the lyrics to her own songs or her voice wasn't working.
She started off lip-syncing in the beginning of her performance, but her mouth movements didn't even match the track of the song.
