J. Cole reveals Drake jokingly texted him 'I Hate You' after he released 'K.O.D.' + more in interview with Angie Martinez
J. Cole recently chopped it up with Angie Martinez in a 94 minute interview where he talked about why an album with Kendrick Lamar probably may never happen, how he felt about Kanye West sharing a screenshot of their phone call, SoundCloud rappers, meditation, cutting back on drinking and social media, his next album, and so much more.
At one point during the interview, Cole also revealed that Drake got in touch with him shortly after a track off his newest album K.O.D. set a new record on Spotify.

According to Cole, Drake was not too happy that K.O.D. broke the streaming platform’s record for biggest opening day.
”Yeah he text me and said I hate you,” he told Angie.
