Tommie apologizes to fans after landing back in jail for drunk court appearance

Former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Tommie Lee reportedly showed up to court for a child abuse case drunk, and she was placed back in jail, according to TMZ. 

Tommie, whose real name is Atasha Chizaah Jefferson, appeared inebriated and was tested to prove that was indeed the case.

Tommie recently apologized to her fans in an Instagram post and said she's seeking treatment: 

In January, the reality star was indicted on charges of aggravated assault, child cruelty, battery, among others. She faces up to 54 years in prison, according to news reports.

Tommie confirmed to fans that she quit LHHATL, however, other reports speculated she was fired from the series after news broke of her child abuse charges. 

LHHATL returns for season 8 this Monday, March 25 at 8 p.m.
