'Skins' may be too Raunchy for some Audiences

Is anybody keeping up with the new MTV show Skins?
Party party party lets all get wasted, seems to be the theme of this new show

Remade from a British version, this new teen drama Skins has created a lot of good and bad talk. I watched the premiere of the show last week and I must say this is one crazy, confusing show.

This is a show where teenagers smoke weed, buy drugs, down shots of liquor, pop pills, have threesomes and throw wild crazy house parties.

All the things these teenagers do on the show are extreme and may be giving off a bad message to the teenage viewers who watch it.

Yes some teenagers do dabble in some of these things but to show it on television is a big NO NO to many people.

According to The Record, Skins has recently been getting a bad buzz from advertisers who are pulling back from showing commercials on the show, because they don't want to be associated with what the show is promoting.

Taco Bell is one of the advertisers who recently dropped its ads from Skins.

But I don't know if I would want Taco Bell advertising for me anyway with all the bad press they're getting about there beef and all...just saying.

I haven't watched every episode of Skins but I may continue to watch it to see where the story line goes. Lets see how long this show lasts on the air.

If you haven't seen the show yet tune in on Monday at 10 p.m. on MTV and check it out.
