John Legend and Common performed their hit song "Glory," from the historical movie Selma. Although the film didn't win for 'Best Picture,' "Glory" won an Oscar for 'Best Original Song.'

After an emotional performance of the song, Common and John Legend accepted the award and during their Oscars acceptance speech, the audience was moved to tears. The two spoke out against the mass incarceration of black men, voting rights, and the struggle for justice for all.

“We live in the most incarcerated country in the world, and more black men are under correctional control than were under slavery in 1850,” John said.

Chris Brown says John Legend and Common are real leaders
