New York Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

Breaking News:
After weeks of debate, New York legislature just legalized gay marriage in New York.

The New York State Senate has passed the same sex marriage bill with a vote of 33-29.

According to the Associated Press, advocates are calling it a historic step as New York stands to become the sixth but by far the largest state to legalize same-sex marriage.

The bill will take effect 30 days after governor Andrew Cuomo signs it into law.
