Beyonce Reveals Her Pre-Birth Routine and Post-Baby Weight Loss Diet

Lip gloss?... check. 
Waxed eyebrows?... check. 
Hair done?... check. 
Nails done?... check.

These are all the things Beyonce made sure was done before she went into labor and welcomed Blue Ivy into the world back in January. 

During her interview with People magazine, Beyonce reveals the beauty session and says: 

"I did have a fresh eyebrow wax," she said. "I got my nails done, I got my feet done, had my hair done and I had my little lip gloss."

"I didn't feel that I looked beautiful during birth but who does? After being pumped with all those fluids and gaining so much weight. I barely recognized myself. But after many hours of labour I couldn't care less about anything but my child. I didn't care how I looked."
Beyonce also said she lost most of her baby pounds from breast feeding Blue Ivy. She put on 50lbs, while expecting.
"I lost most of my weight from breast-feeding and I encourage women to do it; it's just so good for the baby and good for yourself."
"I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running."
When Beyonce isn’t working on her fitness in the gym, she relies on a strict protein based diet in the kitchen. Her meal plan is:
Breakfast – egg whites
Lunch – protein shake or fresh sliced turkey with capers
Snack – edamame or cucumbers with vinegar, cayenne pepper and lemon, berries or a green apple
Dinner – yellowtail sashimi with jalapenos and wasabi

She said she's proud her waist came back so fast, mostly from breastfeeding but also from exercising and eating right.
