A Boycott Against 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,' Joseline Defends Her Gender and K. Michelle's Ex Drama

Here is all the latest scoop on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta...

Last week I quickly recaped the premiere episode and included my thoughts about Stevie J and Joseline. I also added what Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club said (click HERE if you missed that).

Joseline is a man?

Apparently, Joseline's gender is now up in the air after the premiere episode. She took to twitter to defend herself and said she's 100% woman.

AND to back up her words and prove her womanhood, Joseline then tweeted a naked photo of herself (which was later removed). But, many people are saying the picture doesn't provide proof because surgery can fix anything.

This is ratchetness at its finest!

Not only is Joseline dissing Stevie J's baby mama Mimi on the show, but she also defended all the side chicks and has said, "ho's be winning."

Stevie J tried to defend his player ways on Twitter and he thinks people need to give him a chance. He tweeted:

"It's only the 1st episode ladies geez! I'm the good guy."

"I lie because i dont wanna hurt her. Most guys feel the same way."

"I'll take all of the cussing, fussing, arguing for my love!"

But, Joseline isn't sugar coating anything. She straight up said:

"Yes I (used) to Dance so f**king what b***hes. All y'all ni***s payed me and y'all daddy's n brothers," Joseline said of viewers criticizing her background.

"Please guys is all about that check understand life or u will be broke 4 ever," she said, adding of her co-star,

"Lol Stevie J is every1's man so please!! Not just mines ... I'm not gready I share!!! who wants him?! he will put u on 2!!"

"Blah blah blah. Keep on watching me on Love and HipHop Atlanta. Lmao im ready for the world!! I already won. I am an artist f**k what u heard."

She's an artist hunh? I never heard of this chick until this show came on.

We also saw in the last episode Joseline breaking the news to Stevie J that she's pregnant! Men can't get pregnant. Oh goodness! And, Stevie J better hope that is not his baby or he's trapped for life by the side chick.

I wonder what Mimi is thinking as she's watching these episodes?

Anyway, there is also a lot of backlash against Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and there are reports that a petition has already been started to pull the show from the air.

The petition reads: After we made a ruckus about Basketball Wives, sponsors began to pull ads. Well, it’s that time again, folks!
While we should respect the perceptions and experiences of the men and women featured on “reality” television shows, networks are airing stories that could be very helpful for people to hear, but they’re telling these stories in EXTREMELY dangerous ways.
We all know premium digital crack rock is ‘slanged’ in digital hoods other than VH1. We also know the problem is not just TV–it’s a big, mean, social monster that we’ve gotta shoot down one non-violent bullet at a time. Nevertheless, somebody’s gotta be the face of this lovely movement. And since VH1 has chosen to give us yet another beautifully-blinged jewel of commercial exploitation (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta), they might as well be the face of change. By the way, shout out to all African Americans who received Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as their Juneteenth gift! You won and lost at the same time!
As we work toward national- and local-level change, let’s tell VH1 and their sponsors (again) why people from a broad range of backgrounds will NOT stand for the exploitation of the lived experiences of people who may not even know they’re being exploited. This isn’t a “Black or White” thing, this is a HUMAN thing…and we should all understand.
P.S. That “turn of the TV/your kids’ TV if you don’t want to watch” argument doesn’t work here, VH1. A good number of the kids who are most at risk don’t have the luxury of living with parents who can just “turn off the TV”. Why? Because their parents are out working multiple jobs (thanks to this lovely thing called poverty); one or both parents are on drugs, dead, or in jail; or they’re raised by ill grandparents, relatives who aren’t that interested in their future, or foster parents who abuse them and only foster to collect a check.
Memphitz speaks out about K. Michelle
In the first episode K. Michelle accused a boyfriend from her past of abuse. Since the episode aired K. Michelle has confirmed Memphitz - who was the former Vice President of the A&R at Jive Records and who is currently married to Lil' Wayne's ex Toyawas her abuser and now Mempthitz has taken steps to defend himself against the accusations.
K. Michelle explains her past abusive relationship
Take a look below at the highlights from Memphitz’s interview with radio host TT Torrez:
On meeting K. Michelle:
Memphitz explains how he and K. Michelle met in New York. After K. Michelle sang for him for the first time, he said he was blown away and HAD to sign her. Memphitz was the Vice President of the A&R department at Jive Records after leaving Arista.
On mixing business with pleasure:
After signing K. Michelle, he would have her travel with him to sing for everyone. Late night studio sessions led them to begin mixing business with pleasure. Memphitz said he shouldn’t have gotten involved with his artist but he did.
Memphitz
He said things started happening between them that caused the relationship to turn sour. If Memphitz would listen to another female artist, K. Michelle would get upset. He said he was very fond of K but she was more in love with him than he was with her. He said they NEVER lived together but she did stay in his house in Atlanta and condo in New York.
On misusing K. Michelle $2 million dollar deal from Jive:
Memphitz said K. Michelle was signed for about $500,000, not $2 million. He said he “fixed” things on her to market her (i.e. breast implants). He claims he never touched the money she got from Jive to fund personal luxuries. He said the label handles the money after a budget is submitted so there’s no way he could have used her money for personal reasons.
On why he got fired from Jive:
Memphitz says he was running a one-man show and just had too many things going on. He also added K. Michelle was going to the record label telling them Memphitz hit her which also may have had something to do with him being fired. He said, “She says that whenever she thinks she has a stage.”
On an argument/altercation where he allegedly put his hands over her mouth:
Memphitz said he went to the hotel room to let K. Michelle know he was DONE with her. He claims she started swinging at him and throwing things at him while he tries to get to the door. He said he went to the house cleaning ladies to call for help. He then grabbed her and held her arms down to restrain her from hitting him.  He admits to covering her mouth to keep her from screaming.
On why K. Michelle didn’t say his name on “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta”:
Memphitz says the reason K. Michelle didn’t say his name on “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” was because he had his lawyers call the producers of the show and said they were NOT able to say his name unless they have proof that he beat her!
