An Angry Governor: Chris Christie Gets Into It with Critic on the Boardwalk and Calls a Reporter an Idiot

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie doesn't like it when reporters go off topic at press conference's and I should know, I covered one before when he attended Newark's UMDNJ and I noticed the way he interacted with reporters and snapped back when someone asked a question he didn't like.

Well excuse the hell out of me if the reporter is just doing his/her job and trying to get the story that people want to know about.

Anyway...

According to Fox News, Chris Christie snapped again at a reporter and this time it was last week during a press conference about an emergency problem at a Monmouth County water treatment plant.

According to reports, the reporter asked an off-topic question by asking Christie whether the first-term GOP governor would address the Democrat-controlled state legislature.

"Did I say on topic?" Christie answered back, as seen in the video. "Are you stupid? On topic, on topic. Next question."

Towards the end of the press conference, Christie thanked everyone and also said "I'm sorry for the idiot over there," referring to the reporter.

In another heated moment, the Governor was hanging out with his family recently at Seaside Heights and had just ordered an ice cream cone (I bet he did), when a random person walked by and made remarks about the Governor's policy on education.

Gov. Chris Christie caught on video
during heated exchange
According to TMZ - who posted the cellphone video on their website - Christie yelled back to the man saying, "You're a real big shot... you're a real big shot shootin' your mouth off."

The man shouted back, "Nah, just take care of the teachers!"

Christie seemed pissed and also had to be held back from someone in his crew.
