Beyonce Will Perform the National Anthem at President Obama's Inauguration

Beyonce is already off to a very busy start this year. She signed her Pepsi deal, she's working on a new album, she will also be perfoming at the Super Bowl halftime show and now she has been invited to sing the National Anthem at President Obama's second public inauguration on January 21st.

This performance comes after her take on Etta James classic "At Last" which was sang during the Inaugural Ball at the 2009 inauguration.

According to USA Today, Beyonce will take the stage at the West Front of the U.S. Capitol, and will be joined by Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor during the event. Kelly will sing "My Country, 'Tis of Thee," which soul icon Aretha Franklin memorably sang at Obama's first inauguration. James Taylor has been tapped to sing "America the Beautiful."

Obama will officially take the oath of office at the White House on Jan. 20, as per the Constitution, but the repeat swearing-in ceremony, the inaugural parade, the lunch with Congress and the inaugural balls will take place on Monday.

More announcements about the entertainment for the second inauguration will be announced in the upcoming days.
