The massive leak took the internet by storm. Some thought it was an invasion of privacy while others thought, hey these are celebrities and everything they do becomes public, right? So, maybe they should have been a little more careful taking these pictures on their phones.
But Jennifer spoke out saying it is her body and should be her choice whether she wants to show it or not.
She want on to say, "Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this,” she says. “It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world."
And for those who viewed and/or distributed the photos, Jennifer says those people should cower with shame:
"Anybody who looked at those pictures, you're perpetuating a sexual offense. You should cower with shame."
"Even people who I know and love say, 'Oh, yea, I looked at the pictures.' I don't want to get mad, but at the same time I'm thinking, I didn't tell you that you could look at my naked body."
The FBI and Apple have announced last month they are investigating the hacking. Read more of Jennifer Lawrence's interview over at Vanity Fair.
