Ray Rice Wins Appeal of Indefinite Suspension, Interview with 'Today' Show to Air

Ray Rice has won his appeal from being suspended indefinitely from the NFL after a video went viral back in February showing him knocking out his then-fiance cold in an elevator and then dragging his unconscious fiancé out of the elevator. Rice is now free to sign with a team.

The assault took place earlier this year and TMZ released the full elevator footage in September.

Ray and Janay recently talked with journalist and Today show host Matt Lauer. The exclusive full interview will air this Monday (Dec. 1) and Tuesday (Dec. 2) on Today

Janay said her first reaction was to be "done" with their relationship (as she should have).

She tells Lauer (via Today):

“I was furious. We came home and we didn't talk the entire ride. He tried to talk to me. I didn't want to hear any of it. I just knew he hit me, and I was done. I just didn't even want to entertain it. Any explanation.”

But Janay wasn't done.

She stayed with Ray after the assault and in fact got married to him just over a month after he was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated assault for the attack.

And, Janay has defended Ray multiple times on social media and even said in one Instagram post, "... we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is."

Say what now!? If THAT is what REAL love is, then I don't want it.

Now the question is, who is going to sign Ray Rice? Who wants him playing for their team after all of this?
