WATCH: Mariah Carey Performs Her Classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You" Holiday Song at Tree Lighting

The holidays are here and Mariah Carey sung her classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You," during her opening performance earlier at Rockefeller Center for the annual Christmas tree lighting.
Merry Christmas
This year is special for Mariah because it also marks the 20-year anniversary of her Christmas album, Merry Christmas!

This performance came with a little bit of drama though. Mariah was supposed to record her performance Tuesday night instead of singing live tonight.

According to E! News, Mariah forced production to wait for several hours as she didn't want to perform in the rain and was concerned about it affecting her voice. **side eye**

TMZ reported Mariah was delayed because she was talking with her lawyer about the divorce settlement with Nick Cannon.

Mariah tweeted out to her fans and to all who waited for her on Tuesday night:

"Last night's situation was beyond my control. I apologize to all that showed up, you know that I would never want to disappoint you," the singer said.

"You've kept me here, in your hearts, and I keep you in mine always. We are #lambily! #ThereForMe. I will be opening tonight's live show in Rockefeller center with "All I Want For Christmas Is You"!!!! Tune in at 8pm on NBC!"

Check out performance from earlier tonight and let me know what you think!
