A First: Weed Vending Machines Debut in Seattle

Whaaaat ... weed vending machines!? Say word?

Who would've thought this would ever happen? Not me. But yes, it's true. Today, Seattle debuted the first vending machines to dispense marijuana flower buds.

The machines are called ZaZZZ. According to NBC, the machines are being placed in medical pot dispensaries, which helps to verify customer's age and identity since medical marijuana cards are required to enter the centers.

Like machines that dispense soda or snacks, ZaZZZ intends to speed up the distribution for those who don't want to wait in a line at the dispensary, NBC reports.
This is the first time a vending machine is selling the plant's flower buds which are used to smoke. Vending machines appeared for the first time in Colorado last year, but those only sold edibles or cannabis-infused foods, according to NBC.

The more you know.

Well, I suspect these machines are located next to plenty of snack machines.
