Is Maxwell Gearing Up For the Release of a New Album, 'SUMMERS'night'!?

 

It looks like Maxwell may have finished perfecting his forthcoming album! Fingers crossed because I've been waiting!

Remember, he released BLACKsummers'night back in 2009, the first in a planned trilogy of albums, and he left us fans hanging and waiting ever since!

BLACKsummers'night went on to have three smashing radio hits "Pretty Wings," "Bad Habits," and "Fistful of Tears" all of which I heard him perform live last year when I saw him at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Pennsylvania during his “Summer Soulstice” tour.

So where's the album, mannnn!? Lol. I'm impatient.

Well, a couple of days ago, Maxwell posted a photo on his Instagram page which showed him looking up at the ceiling at three light bulbs, one light bulb is dark. He captioned the photo, "looking at the sequel to summer middle."

So what does this symbolize? Some fans didn't get it and he further explained, "the dark light is the third part to black summers night trilogy."



In 2013, Maxwell previewed the album Summers'night or BLACKsummers'night with a new song "Gods" which is supposed to be included in the new album.

With the title of the album named, Summers,' maybe Maxwell will release it this summer!? One can only hope. Check out the "Gods" demo below:
