Kanye West Makes TIME's List of '100 Most Influential People,' Says: "I don't care about having a legacy"

TIME magazine released their annual list of 100 influential people, ranging from celebrities to politicians. Pop culture icon Kanye West made the list and landed his own cover! Time labels Kanye a "boundary breaker."

The list takes into account those who have inspired others, positively or negatively, and each person on the list has a profile written about him or her by another notable figure.

Misty Copeland, Bradley Cooper, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Jorge Ramos also had their very own covers. Comedian Kevin Hart and pop star Taylor Swift were also included, and Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian made the list as a Titan for being “The First Lady of Fame.”

Love him or hate him, Kanye loves Kanye and I'm sure he thinks him and his wife deserve to be included.

During his Time 100 interview, Kanye said he doesn't care about having a legacy:

"I don't care about having a legacy, I don't care about being remembered," Kanye said.

"The most important thing to me is while I'm here, while we're having fun, while we're going to sleep and breathing oxygen, and living life, and falling in love, and having pain, and having joy, is like, 'What can I do with my voice, what can we do for each other to make life easier, make life doper for our kids as they grow up?' You know, they were born into a broken world and we're like the clean-up crew."
