Birdman Says He Had Nothing to Do With Lil' Wayne's Tour Bus Shooting, Says the Beef Has Affected His Life

Birdman is in the middle of a lot of drama, including his ongoing legal battle with Lil' Wayne.

The Cash Money Records CEO recently sat down with Power 105.1 radio personality Angie Martinez for an exclusive interview (which aired today) where he addresses Wayne's lawsuit and more.

Angie asked the rap mogul if Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj can leave Cash Money and he said they're not going anywhere. He insists that he's keeping Nicki and Drake on his roster.

Birdman also commented on the beef with Lil' Wayne and said it affected his life:

“That was shocking to everybody. You never thought Wayne would be saying nothing negative about me in no lifetime. I never thought that could ever happen — for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me. Shit fucked my day up. I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life."

Birdman also said he has nothing to do with Wayne’s tour bus shooting:

“That’s the craziest shit I ever heard in my life. My children mean the world to me. There is no indictment on me.”

Birdman said he still calls Wayne his son and says he would check anyone disrespecting him.
