Mob Wives star Angela Raiola a.k.a Big Ang passed away early this morning (Feb. 18) at the age of 55.

Earlier reports from several news outlets posted of her death before it was confirmed. Loved ones quickly denied those earlier reports and a statement was sent out from Big Ang's Twitter account around 10 p.m. Wednesday that she was “still in the hospital surrounded by her loved ones, and is fighting.”
Around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Big Ang's official Instagram page was updated with another official statement which confirmed her passing.

"It is with sad regret that we inform you that at 3:01AM Angela Raiola peacefully ended her battle with cancer, and was called home. She was surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and closest friends."
