Frank Ocean published an open letter today on his Tumblr site for the victims of the tragic Orlando shooting.
The singer/rapper wrote about LGBTQ discrimination and hate crimes from a personal perspective and said he remembers his father saying hateful things at a restaurant to a trans server:
"I was six years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a faggot as he dragged me out a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty."
