Lady Gaga Announces Joanne World Tour After Explosive Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Lady Gaga slayed and delivered a stunning Super Bowl halftime show performance Sunday night during the championship game between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.

The 30-year-old pop star sang, danced, and jumped down from a roof like Spider-Man while suspended on cables ... plus, there were drones, fireworks ... EVERYTHANG!

Gaga kicked off her halftime set by singing "God Bless America" (yes! America needs this right now)  before diving into a number of her hits which included, "Poker Face," "Just Dance," "Edge of Glory," "Born This Way" and more.

There were rumors that a preggies Beyonce - who killed the Super Bowl last year alongside Bruno Mars and Coldplay - was going to make an appearance. When Gaga started singing her hit "Telephone" which features Bey, I jumped up with excitement because I thought we were about to see Beyonce grace the stage for the first time since announcing her pregnancy.

But, nope (Sorry, BeyHive)!
However, I think Gaga did an amazing job (while others beg to differ) entertaining millions of viewers for 13 minutes without any guest appearances.
Gaga then wrapped up her performance by dropping her microphone, catching a football and jumping off a set of stairs onto the field.

The singer took full advantage from just performing on the biggest stage, and she announced her Joanne World Tour late Sunday night. Great marketing!

The superstar’s Joanne World Tour starts on Aug. 1 in Vancouver. She’ll perform in New York City at Citi Field stadium on Aug. 28.

Tickets for the show go on sale Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. Visit Live Nation for more information.
