Side Eye: Amber Rose says South Philly chicks aren't "traditionally attractive" as she is, Torrei Hart claps back

Amber Rose found herself in the middle of some ish after saying a lot of chicks from Philly aren't "traditionally attractive."

During an appearance on Drink Champs, Rose talked to host N.O.R.E. about how difficult it was growing up, apparently, where she was the only pretty girl. Growing up in South Philly, Amber said she felt like an outsider because of her looks.

“I don’t know how I can say this without sounding, like, f***ed up, but a lot of the people where I’m from aren’t traditionally attractive people,” Rose said. “For me, being blessed with beauty, as beautiful women know, is a blessing and a curse. To grow up in such an area and be blessed with beauty, it was very difficult for me.”

After peeps started bashing her online, Amber had no choice but to try and clear up her comments.

“Seeing online today that people took a clip from the ‘Drink Champs’ interview that I did,” she said. “And I know that people like really want me to be a superficial b*tch but I’m just not that person. I find beauty in everyone. I think everyone is beautiful. Unfortunately it’s not easy doing interviews and, you know, always saying things the way you really want to articulate [indiscernible]. It’s like kinda when you send a text to someone and they’re like ‘Why do you have a attitude’ and you’re like ‘I don’t have a attitude.”

Well, Kevin Hart's ex-wife, Torrei Hart, is from Philly, and she blasted Amber for her comments:
