Remy Ma Calls Out Nicki Minaj At Video Music Awards + 7 Other Notable VMAs Moments

The Video Music Awards aired Sunday night and overall the show was just okay (it was missing Rihanna, Beyonce, Adele, and some more big-time celebs), but there were a couple of standout moments (and, Katy Perry hosting this year was not one of them).

Check out these 8 notable Video Music Awards
moments from last night's show:

#8 Teyana Taylor Pays Homage To Janet Jackson's '90s Outfit

Teyana Taylor won "Best Dance" award for her performance in Kanye West's "Fade" music video (which premiered last year at the VMA's). Right away, peeps noticed Teyana wore the same outfit that the legendary Janet Jackson wore in 1995 when she won in the same exact category.

#7 Paris Jackson Addresses White Supremacists

With a string of white nationalist movements happening all around the country, Paris Jackson took a moment to get serious and she called out white supremacists in her powerful speech shown below:

#6 Pink's Amazing Acceptance Speech

Pink accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and she delivered a message of self empowerment. Check out her speech below!

#5 Amber Rose's New Look

Amber Rose and rapper 21 Savage are flaunting their new love everywhere and they brought it to the VMA's for their red carpet debut as a couple.

I almost didn't recognize Muva's new look with that new wig on her head.

#4 Kendrick, Kendrick and More Kendrick!

Kendrick Lamar opened this year's show, performing "Humble" and "DNA" off of his latest album, DAMN. Kendrick slayyyyed the stage AND the rapper also took home six VMA's, including the biggest award of the night, "Video of the Year."

Very well deserved!

#3 Ed Sheeran Raps (Sort Of)

Ed Sheeran and Lil' Uzi Vert teamed up to perform Sheeran's hit "Shape Of You," and surprisingly, Sheeran started singing the lyrics to Lil' Uzi Vert's hit song "XO Tour Llif3." Even Cardi B was surprised. Peep her hilarious reaction below:

#2 Taylor Swift Mocks Kim Kardashian's Paris Robbery?

Taylor Swift made her return to the music world this week and she's releasing a new album, Reputation, on Nov. 10.

Taylor released a new song "Look What You Made Me Do" and the video premiered at the VMA's last night. Peeps are saying Taylor is mocking Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery in her new video.

In the song, the singer says the old Taylor is dead. She also sings, “I don’t like your little games/Don’t like your tilted stage." Well, peeps are saying this is most likely a reference to the tilted stage that Kanye West showcased on his “Saint Pablo” world tour.

Remember Taylor was mad over Kanye's "Famous" lyrics last year which included the line: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous.”

Without mentioning Kimye specifically, Taylor talks about having a “list of names,” contemplates karma and even hints at retribution (“I got mine, but you’ll all get yours”). Oop!

#1 Remy Ma Calls Out Nicki Minaj!

Remember when Nicki said the now-infamous line: "Miley, what's good!?" at the VMA's two years ago? Well, Remy Ma just brought that line back and made it her own.

Ever since that "Shether" murder, these two rappers have been going at it with the song subliminal's and shade. Well, Remy is back at it again and she said on the VMA's earlier: "Nicki, what's good?"

What was your favorite VMA's moment?
