'New York Undercover' reunion: Lauren Velez says bring on the reboot!

Are you here for a 'New York Undercover' reboot!?

Lauren Velez gave everyone a huge dose of nostalgia yesterday (March 3) when she posted photos on Instagram of herself and her New York Undercover co-stars, Malik Yoba and Michael DeLorenzo.

The drama series and perhaps one of the best cop shows, which aired from 1994-98, was the first police drama on American TV to feature two people of color in the starring roles.

Velez, who played Detective Nina Moreno-Torres in the series, wrote in her caption, "I cannot express how much I adore these two.Together we stand the test of time!"

Velez also hashtagged: #EddiesNotDead which is a huge clue in saying DeLorenzo can reprise his role as Detective Eddie Torres!

If you recall, DeLorenzo's character was killed off at the end of the third season while in the line of duty after his car was blown up in a revenge attack by a bank robber. The series then returned with a new cast in the fourth and final season.
