A Michael Jackson Tour but with No Michael

"An electrifying production that unfolds the creative mind of Michael Jackson!" is what this world tour is being called.

Tickets go on sale starting today for Michael Jackson's: "The Immortal World Tour" by circus artists and street entertainers, Cirque Du Soleil.

The tour is coming to the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on March 30, 2012.

Cirque is developing their third show based on the music of Jackson. It is an arena show version scheduled to begin touring the world in October 2011 and a Las Vegas residency show scheduled to begin in 2012 or 2013.

Well known concert director, Jamie King is the writer and director of this tour.

"It’s a celebration of Jackson’s music and choreography, and it’ll recreate many of his best-known songs and videos. The Cirque du Soleil show attempts to peek into the mind of MJ, and will feature a fantastical “Giving Tree” that acts as the source of the star's inspiration." - NJ.com

It seems that his family is cool with the unique event as Cirque Du Soleil pays homage to the late Michael Jackson and of course they would be as this tour generates more money. The spirit of Jackson will be there as he will appear on video screens, so the legend lives on.
