Angelina Jolie Plans on Retiring From Acting in the Near Future to Focus on Her Family

Angelina Jolie recently did an interview with Britain's Channel 4 News and when asked about her plans for the future, she revealed that would likely put the brakes on her movie career in the near future to focus on taking care of her family.

The 37-year-old star explained there would be too much to manage at home, "I think I'm going to have to give up acting as the kids hit the teenage years."

Well in that case, we still have a couple of more years to catch Angelina in new movies on the big screen... her oldest child is only 11-years-old.

Angelina and Brad Pitt have six children together: Maddox, 11, Pax, 9, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 4.

That is one big load!

Angelina is currently working on the movie "Maleficent," which hits theaters on March 14, 2014. She is also rumored for an upcoming role in a potential "Kung Fu Panda 3" and she reportedly reviewed a script for "Salt 2."

"I've enjoyed being an actress," she said. "And I am so grateful to the job. I've had great experiences, and I have even be able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered...It's a really lucky profession to be a part of. But if it went away tomorrow, I would be very happy to be home with my children."

Brad, who is very much a family man now, also hinted at retirement, telling Australia's 60 Minutes that he might want to stop acting sooner than Angelina hinted - he said within three years.

"I wasn't actually putting an exact deadline on my expiration date, but I see it coming," Brad clarified later. "I just have other interests."
