Drake Responds to Meek Mill's Twitter Diss... Meek Says, "Let Him Be Great"

Tuesday (June 21) was a crazy night of gossip, I couldn't even keep up with all the shade, shots being fired and salty tweets.

First, Nicki Minaj went on a Twitter rant over the Video Music Awards. On the same day, her boyfriend Meek Mill took it upon himself to publicly blast Drake and he went on a Twitter rant about how Drake doesn't write his own rhymes.

Meek started off talking about Nicki and his success, he said:
Meek then got into his rant about Canadian rapper, Drake:

Meek continued:

"He ain't even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album..... I don't trick my fans! Lol"

He added, "The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can't wait tok these guys and sit back and act like they don't know!"

"Other artist know tho? lil Wayne and Nicki know ..... Ask em they gone act like they don't see them tweets"

Quentin Miller (right) is allegedly Drake's ghostwriter.
Miller has credits on several Drake tracks, including "10 Bands,"

and he has his own version of the song, listen below!

Meek even mentioned Jay-Z and said, "I only know how to tell the truth..... If hov gave me a verse somebody wrote I would do the same thing! No shade to hov!"

"The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can't wait tok these guys and sit back and act like they don't know!"

"Don't compare me to none of the cats that don't write they own raps either...... Lol"

"Kendrick and j cole really know how to rap even tho they in different lanes .... Dude is all the way outta of it lol"

"And I only speak facts remenber that!"

"I pray the real live forever and all the fake get exposed!"

Meek later addressed award shows and said, "I don't really trip about the awards... I know they gone give em to the white kids doing it.... That's why we buy Rollie's and shit our own trophies!"

While everyone waited for Drake to speak out that night about Meek Mill and the whole ghostwriting, he didn't.

Then on Wednesday, Drake spoke out in a DM to his friend "Hitman Holla" (real name Gerald Fulton Jr.) and he seemed totally unbothered by the entire situation.

Drizzy first responded with the praying hands emoji and then wrote, "I signed up for greatness. This comes with it."

Wednesday night, Meek Mill followed up on his tweets in which he accused Drake of using a ghostwriter and he shouted him out during his performance. Meek was in Virginia with Nicki as a part of "The Pinkprint Tour."

"Shout out to Drake," Meek said onstage. "Let him be great in all the motherfucking lanes he great at. But I'm gonna still be the realest nigga in this bitch."

This is why you can't get too comfortable with people... one disagreement or as soon as ya'll are not cool, they spilling all the beans!

It's sad I have that 'trust no one' mentality, but as I'm growing my brand, I keep my guard up... you never know who's fake smiling, who's low key wanting you to fail, or who's gonna Meek Mill you, lol, then you'll get Drake'd, just saying.

Keep your eyes open... be cool, but not too open with people.

Brandon Jennings basically said the same
thing I posted on Instagram last night.
This picture shows Drake supporting Meek

and wearing a 'Free Meek Mill'
t-shirt while he was locked up
