Global Citizen Festival 2015: Behind-the-Scene Photos of Beyonce Practicing + Scheduled Headliners and Appearances

The Global Citizen Festival takes place Saturday (Sept. 26) in New York City's, Central Park at 2 p.m. But, if you aren't attending the concert live, don't worry! 

MSNBC and MSNBC.com will air live simulcasts of the full concert, which will also be live-streamed on YouTube. iHeartRadio and Tidal, will also offer digital streams of audio from the show. In addition, NBC will air a one-hour special about the event Sunday (Sept. 27) at 1 a.m./midnight c.

In addition to musical performances from Beyonce, Pearl Jam, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, the festival will include appearances by celebrities, including: Stephen Colbert, Kerry Washington, Salma Hayek, Hugh Jackman, Olivia Wilde, Connie Britton, Katie Holmes, Laverne Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, Sophia Bush, Bono and many more. 

Plus, the First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will also reportedly be in attendance.

The goal of the festival is to shine a light on extreme poverty and ending it by 2030.
