Former 'Love & Hip Hop' Star Jhonni Blaze Gears Up For the Release of Her First Mixtape

Former Love & Hip Hop New York star Jhonni Blaze is following in the footsteps of K. Michelle and will soon take the music industry by storm.

Although she will not return to LHHNY, as she previously stated on social media, the 25-year-old reality star/singer will be releasing her very first mixtape Cut From A Different Cloth next week (Oct. 2).

The new recording artist is ecstatic that her mixtape is finally being released, "I'm truly in tears."

Jhonni says her 20-track mixtape will be available for free because she wants to be able to look back and say, "even a homeless man could have my mixtape because it's free!"

When describing all of the different emotions that comes with releasing her first mixtape, Jhonni said, "I'm nervous, I'm scared, I'm emotional, 4-12 hours a day."

"Tears and frustration and writers block and disagreements and happiness and pure greatness and artists I've worked with that I never would think I could, all on my mixtape!!! I'm happy," she continued to say.

Earlier today, she released the first visuals to one of the songs that will be included on her mixtape, her own spin on Mariah Carey's 1990 hit "Vision of Love," which was directed by Freddy Dang of Dang Films.

Check out a couple of the video snippets below:

Jhonni has a thundering, soulful voice which reminds me of R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan. She is also the next artist who will be signing to BMB records, and she will make her third music video next Monday (Sept. 28).

EXCLUSIVE: A Quick Chat With 'Love & Hip Hop' Newbie Jhonni Blaze, Her Upcoming EP and What Started the Beef With Erica Mena

Jhonni has a huge heart, loves hard, and she gives back to the community. Just a couple of weeks ago, she was involved in her first charity event in Los Angeles where she donated a huge amount of school supplies and sport items for students. The 260 kids who attended the event were also able to get their hair done and face painted.

You may also be able to catch Jhonni in a movie next year as she hinted to coming to theaters in 2016.

Her newest single with Fetty Wap "Ride or Die" is currently available for purchase on iTunes, and I'm sure we can be expecting many more hits from Jhonni Blaze in the near future.
