Zendaya Is Named 'Woman Of Next Year,' Says She Won't Have A "Miley Moment"

Zendaya covers the December/January issue of Complex magazine where she is named 'Woman of Next Year.'

The 19-year-old has plans on becoming an Oscar-winning actress one day and says the career she wants is, "Oprah plus Beyonce."

Because of her busy schedule, Zendaya reveals there is no time for a boyfriend in her life.

When asked if she was dating, more so if she's dating Trevor Jackson, who she is constantly rumored to be dating, the star said it is currently not on her radar.

"You've got to realize my schedule is kind of nuts. I don't have time to go out and get to know somebody. If I didn't know you from the last three or four years of my life, it's probably too late."

Zendaya says unlike other Disney and Nickelodeon stars before her, she does not plan to go off the rails.

When asked about Miley Cyrus' image as the good clean Disney kid, Zendaya said:

"A lot of them were forced into being role models and they had to pretend to be something that they didn't feel matched up with who they were."

"And that's because they started really, really young. So you've got to realize when you're really young you don't know who you are yet. And as soon as you figure it out, you've already been forced to become something that you didn't really know you signed up for."

Zendaya says she is not pretending to be something she is not and also says being a role model is the most important part of her career.
