Beyoncé’s backup dancers chase after intoxicated fan who crashed the stage (video)

An intoxicated fan suffered the wrath of Beyonce’s backup dancers who put them paws on him when he stormed the stage during the On the Run tour stop in Atlanta on Saturday, Aug. 25.

Toward the end of the show, Bey and Jay walked toward the backstage area when a man appeared to walk briskly toward them. That’s when he caught hands from the dancers.

The videos below show 26-year-old Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell charging the stage during the last song of the concert. Atlanta Police Officer Lisa Bender told The Associated Press that Maxwell made contact with Jay-Z and was quickly stopped by security and backup dancers.

Maxwell was initially issued a citation for disorderly conduct and released, but police have added a charge of simple battery.

Check out the scene below:

A statement was released which stated no one got hurt and Bey & Jay won't be pressing charges:

During the second night of the Atlanta show on Sunday night, Beyonce walked offstage and she appeared to poke fun at the concertgoer who crashed the gig the previous night.
