Wendy Williams' husband Kevin Hunter releases statement on her health after being caught boo'd up with his side chick, Charlamagne says Wendy needs rehab away from her husband

Wendy Williams’ husband, Kevin Hunter, recently spoke out about the talk show host’s sobriety days after she opened up on The Wendy Williams Show about struggling with addiction.

“Wendy is doing well,” Kevin told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday. “We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves.”

He added, “It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this [is] a family process … and we are dealing with it and moving forward.”

Wendy revealed during her March 19th episode of her talk show that she sought treatment for addiction.

“You know Kevin and I have The Hunter Foundation for the good of the people. We recently launched our 888-5-HUNTER number for those of you caught up in the struggle of addiction,” the 54-year-old TV host said. “Well, for some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house.”

But, just days after the 54-year-old talk show host revealed that she's been living in a sober house, a source close to Wendy told ET that her current struggles are because “she’s melting down over her husband having a mistress.”

Daily Mail recently leaked photos of Kevin all boo'd up with his side piece while his wife is trying to get herself together.

Kevin's mistress has reportedly given him several ultimatums, insisting he leave Wendy so they can settle down and start a family together. But, according to the Daily Mail, Kevin told his side piece that he can't leave Wendy because she's paying all their bills.

And, to make matters worse, radio personality Charlamagne Tha God - who also used to work with Wendy back in the day on her radio show - recently added fuel to the fire when he said Wendy needs rehab away from her husband.

“This is yet another lie, another half-truth,” Charlamagne said during the show’s “Rumor Report” segment.

“Whatever you want to call it, that is deflecting from the actual issue, which is the alleged abuse and infidelity from her husband.”

“So here’s my advice to Wendy Williams,” Charlamagne said. “She needs to go to rehab for husband Kevin Hunter because whenever there’s a story about him cheating or physically abusing her, she says nothing is wrong, everything is fine. She deflects to something else and since she getting ahead of things, she needs to get ahead of this alleged abuse by her husband because that truth will be revealed.”

His co-host, DJ Envy agreed, and said Wendy is always on TV sharing her thoughts on other people’s lives and doesn’t even do the same for her own life.

Charlamagne also claims that he actually introduced Wendy's husband to his mistress as a friend of his 10 years ago.

Whewwww, chile!
