Dancing With the Stars-Rapper Formerly Known as Lil' Romeo Gets Eliminated in Week 8

The judges and the crowd stood on their feet as they applauded rapper/actor Romeo and his ballroom partner Chelsie after they got eliminated yesterday on Dancing with the Stars.

Both the partners found themselves in the bottom following their performance on Monday night that had left them in second spot and now voted off.

I was rooting for Romeo after my beginning favorite Wendy Williams got the boot and after I saw she sucked at dancing, lol.

I thought Romeo warmed up to dancing very quick and was actually good at it. And look who he lost to: injured contestant Ralph Macchio the former 1980's karate kid and dance partner Karina Smirnoff who were in the bottom as well and had lower scores.

Many fans reacted on Twitter saying America got their votes wrong as Romeo started becoming a fan favorite to the young crowd. Oh well, he obviously didn't get enough votes to keep him around.

Romeo tweeted yesterday, "I was taught to never hold your head down if u go down fighting giving 100% & thats what I did! This journey has def. been magical."

After elimination, Romeo said on the show him and his partner Chelsie went out with a bang and the show changed his life forever.

"I was terrified of dancing, I didn't dance at my prom and I turned down a lot of movies because I didn't want to dance," Romeo admits then says to Chelsie they can still dance together after the show.

Master P on Dancing with the Stars
According to USA Today, Romeo's father, rapper Master P and former Dancing with the Stars contestant called Romeo before his last show and said how proud he was of him no matter what the outcome was.

"I was like, 'Dad! Dang! Do you know I'm going home or something?" Romeo said. "He just knew," according to USA Today.
