Marilyn Monroe, Still More Alive

So yesterday would have been Monroe's 85th birthday.
Her iconic white dress that she was photographed in while a gust of air sent the dress slightly blowing up will be auctioned off soon.

She was wearing this dress in the 50's while standing over a subway grate on Lexington Avenue near 52nd Street in Manhattan and filming  "The Seven Year Itch."

The dress is currently owned by movie star Debbie Reynolds and will soon be brought back to New York.

It has been reported that this white dress may be worth between $1 million to $2 million!

Monroe, till today, is still seen for her iconic beauty, acting, her birthday song for President Kennedy, her quotes and for appearing in the very first issue of Playboy Magazine.

Her name is still very much in the spotlight. Singer, Mariah Carey recently named her twin daughter, Monroe, after the Hollywood icon calling her an inspiration.

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroe
