Legendary Etta James Dies at 73

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Blues Hall of Famer Etta James died this morning in Riverside Community Hospital in California after a long battle of leukemia.


The "At Last" singer with such a powerful voice had been undergoing treatment for some time now for a number of conditions. She was rushed to a hospital last month after suffering from breathing complications.


Despite Etta James' rough life, bad girl reputation and past drug problem, she is categorized as having one of the best voices ever. She won four Grammy's and received a Lifetime Achievement Award. (Read more about Etta's life HERE).


Etta James leaves behind two sons and her husband. R.I.P Etta James!
