Lauryn Hill Faces Eviction From New Jersey Mansion


Lauryn Hill, who pleaded guilty last year to tax evasion and will be sentenced next week, reportedly stopped paying rent on her South Orange mansion in New Jersey. The singer now faces an eviction notice by the landlord, according to TMZ. She's been living in the mansion since 2009 and stopped paying her rent last month.

There's also a lawsuit pending against both Lauryn and her landlords by the town of South Orange for allegedly running a business out of a home, which is a violation of town zoning ordinance, according to news reports.

Lauryn Hill is an eight-time Grammy-winning singer and songwriter and now she's facing eviction on top of tax problems!? Smh.
