'Love & Hip Hop New York' Star Mendeecees Posts Final Message Before Starting His Prison Sentence

Mendeecees Harris turned himself into prison today and posted one last final message for his family, friends and fans.

"My family is strong, real strong, so their good," he said in a message on his Instagram page.

"Keep @theharrisbunch in your prayers and I will keep you all updated through my brother running my page. Be blessed, keep in contact, build and encourage each other, stop the hating and see you when I return."

His full message is below:

Last year, it was revealed that the Love & Hip Hop New York star would be sentenced to eight years in prison for trafficking cocaine and heroine through Rochester, New York.

Lately, Mendeecees has spent as much time as possible with his friends and family, including his wife and LHHNY co-star, Yandy Smith.

He posted a picture of his final meal with his friends and family and captioned the photo below, “Dinner with the fam Last Meal Until I Return.”

The good news is Mendeecees may not have to serve his full sentence since previously serving 15 months before he posted bail.

His sentence may also be reduced because of good behavior and current sentencing guidelines for drug-related crimes that are under consideration for change.
