WATCH: New Edition Receives Lifetime Achievement Award, Tears Down BET Awards Stage + Bobby Brown Is Still Extra!

The best BET Awards performance of the night, by far, goes to New Edition!

After receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's BET Awards, New Edition performed a medley of their hit songs.

Prior to their acceptance speech, the cast of biopic The New Edition Story paid tribute to the legendary vocal group. New Edition sat in the audience and watched as their biopic counterparts sang various hit songs from their careers together and as solo artists, including Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison," Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative," and Ralph Tresvant's "Sensitivity."

Also, Bobby brown still proved to be extra, lol ... he had some white fur draped over his shirt and he even disappeared off stage for a little bit while the group was performing. Maybe to catch his breath?

Also Woody McClain (the actor who plays Bobby) walked through the audience and while performing, he stopped by Bobby Brown to personally deliver his tribute. But, Bobby grabbed the mic and it seemed like he wanted to sing his own tribute! Lol!

However, this has been a great year for New Edition! Back in January, the group received their Hollywood Walk of Fame star and they recently announced they will be going on tour again!
