Chris Kelly, one-half of the rap duo Kris Kross, passed away on Wednesday, according to Georgia authorities and various news outlets.

He was discovered unresponsive in his Atlanta home and pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but his death is being investigated as a possible drug overdose.

Kelly and the other Kris Kross member Chris Smith were discovered in 1991 at the age of 13 by rapper and producer Jermaine Dupri. Kelly went by the nickname "Mac Daddy" and Smith went by "Daddy Mac." The two recently performed together again back in February at the 20th anniversary party for So So Def Recordings.

An official cause of death is pending an autopsy. Kelly was only 34-years-old.
