Nas will be the next celebrity to get a biopic on BET!
After BET's amazing miniseries on New Edition (which raked in a total 29 million views in three nights), viewers now have the next series to look forward to: Street Dreams.
Nas' Street Dreams pilot has officially been picked up by the network, and according to Deadline, the show will be set in the early '90s and will track "the ascent of Nas, a young man from the Queensbridge projects who will go on to become a famous rapper, as he evolves from young man to crack dealer to rapper to adult."
Nas will executive produce the series himself, which is a huge plus (just like how New Edition were co-producers of their biopic).

Also, can we put in biopic requests for BET? I would loveeee to see a series on Xscape and Jodeci!
