REVIEW: Nicki Minaj releases new album 'Queen,' listen here!

Nicki Minaj reminds you why she's the leading female in the rap game right now

After several release date changes, Nicki Minaj’s fourth studio album has finally arrived!

Queen, the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint, features guest appearances from Lil' Wayne, Eminem, the Weeknd, Future, Swae Lee, Foxy Brown and Labrinth.
.

I like hard spittin' Nicki. I'm not really into the songs where she sings, like on "Come See About Me," "Run & Hide" and her song "Bed" with Ariana Grande ... those songs could have been cut.

However, I am feeling "Nip Tuck" and "Thought I Knew You" which features The Weeknd, his vocals shine on this song!

I also noticed Nicki's new single "Barbie Tingz" didn't make the cut on this album. And, thank gawd it didn't! It wasn't as good as her other new single "Chun-Li."

"Barbie Dreams"

This song is hands down the best one on Queen! Nicki spazzed on this song which is a play off of
Notorious B.I.G.'s "Just Playing (Dreams)."

"Barbie Dreams" also has Lil' Kim vibes.

** Alexa, play Lil' Kim's "Dreams" **

Nicki name dropped a lot of celebs on this song, including her ex, Meek Mill.

"Somebody go and make sure Karrueche okay though, I heard she think I'm tryna give the coochie to Quavo"

“Drake worth a hundred milli, always buying me shit, but I don't know if the pussy wet or if he cryin' and shit” "Used to fuck with Young Thug I ain't addressing the shit, caught him in my dressing room stealing dresses and shit"

"I had to cancel DJ Khaled, we ain’t speaking, Ain’t no fat ni**a telling me what he ain’t eating"

"Ganja Burns"

This is a song I can see myself dancing and whining to at a party.

Also, it sounds like Nicki dissed Cardi B on this song when she rapped, "bury the Bardi" although some are arguing she says, "bury the body."

"Chun Swae"

Any song with Swae Lee from Rae Sremmurd is going to be lit with a hot beat that makes you want to twerk! Nicki's fast flow on this track is also impressive.

Towards the end of the track, Nicki says:

"You're in the middle of 'Queen' right now, thinking... I see why she calls this shit 'Queen,' this bitch is really the fucking queen," she says and then she cracks up laughing and thanks her fans.
Overall, this is a solid album! Good job, Nicki.
