5 Moments Left Out Of 'Britney Ever After' Biopic That Should Have Been Included + The Best Fan Reactions

If you're an '80s baby, like myself, and grew up in the '90s, then you know Britney Spears, undoubtedly, was one of the biggest pop stars of our generation. So, it's only right that she gets her own movie, a movie that depicts her life way better than what Lifetime did.

In 2007, Britney had the biggest public meltdown of her career when she shaved off all her hair and instantly became a tabloid fixture.

Now, 10 years later, Britney's darker past and upbringing is at the forefront again in Lifetime's unauthorized biopic of the pop star: Britney Ever After, which premiered Saturday (Feb. 18).

Britney Ever After viewers saw Australian actress Natasha Bassett play the pop princess as the film chronicled the life and music career of Britney Spears ... yeah, it was a complete train wreck!

When the movie was first announced, reps for Britney told Us Weekly, "Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape, or form to the Lifetime biopic ... nor does it have her blessing."

Britney Spears' Fans React To The Terribly Scripted Biopic

It didn't take long for Britney fans to slam the biopic and criticize the film on social media:

5 Moments They Should Have Mentioned But Didn't

So, the film concluded with a disclaimer: "Although based on a true story, some characters are fictionalized composites, and some events have been compressed, reorganized or fictionalized for purposes of dramatization."

Well, if Lifetime wanted to feature some drama, then they should've added some of these 5 memorable moments:

#5 No Mention Of Shar Jackson?

The true gossip which wasn't shown was the ol' love triangle. Britney's old backup dancer and ex-husband, Kevin Federline (whose nickname was revealed as "Meat Pole" in the movie, eh) publicly embarrassed the hell out of actress Shar Jackson when he cheated on her with Britney. AND, he left Shar while she was pregnant! What a douche! But, I guess that was way too real to show in the film, hunh?

#4 Custody Battle

The biopic seemed to have focused more on Britney's downfalls versus her accomplishments. For instance, they mentioned when she lost her kids in a custody battle to Kevin Federline, but there was no mention of when she regained primary custody in 2015.

#3 The 55 Hour Wedding

An annulment was granted after Britney's infamous 55-hour wedding in 2004 to her childhood friend, Jason Alexander. Britney Ever After showed a scene where the pop star was in bed with Jason and she seemed like she didn't remember getting married. The scene should've actually shown Britney marrying her hometown friend in Las Vegas instead of skipping over it. (Here's another worthy mention: Kevin's ex, Shar - the one he cheated on - also winded up dating Jason, ha!)

#2 Mention All The Exes!

Britney dated wayyy more guys than Justin Timberlake, Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline. Remember when she was engaged to Jason Trawick whom she started dated in 2009? The two broke of their engagement in 2013. She also dated Charlie Eberson, and she was rumored to have been involved with Fred Durst and Colin Farrell. Now, Britney's newest boo is Sam Asghari. Home girl seems to always have a man in her life.

#1 "Cry Me A River" Response

The Lifetime biopic focused a lot on Justin Timberlake and Britney's romance and eventually their breakup. But, there was no mention of Justin's hit "Cry Me A River" which was clearly a breakup song about Britney and how she supposedly cheated on him with choreographer Wade Robson. (Jason Alexander previously admitted that Britney used to cheat on Justin with him as well). This movie definitely should've mentioned the "Cry Me A River" song and Britney's reaction. They could have also mentioned Brit's song "Everytime," her supposed response, which came out a year after "Cry Me A River."

C'mon, Lifetime!

Also, let's not forget the 35-year-old entertainer recently reemerged with a Billboard top five album and her successful Vegas residency, all worth mentioning.
